Sun City is one of the original casinos, a survivor of the days when South Africans were only allowed to gamble in the homelands. It's next door to the Lost City - a magnificent monument to kitsch. There's a world class golf course here too.
Pilanesberg is conveniently close to Jo'burg - so if you'd like to see the Big Five, plenty of birds and elegant giraffe roaming among the thorn trees, you'll find them in the green hills of this malaria free reserve.
