Constitutional government was restored in 1993 after 23 years of military rule. Kingdom in the Sky Lesotho is known as the “Kingdom in the Sky” and whether you’re trekking by pony or by foot, you’ll encounter spectacular mountain scenery and a people that still live traditional, simple lives.
