Wild Spirit backpackers lodge just outside of Plettenberg Bay, is a wonderful place to stay at.
From CT: Right turn onto R102 Nature’s Valley.
From PE: 13kms after tollgate, left onto R102 Natures Valley. 3km, on the left.
Wild Spirit is an essential stop bursting with diversity. Soak up breathtaking views of mountains and lush valleys of indigenous forest from every deck of their log cabin lounge and quiet garden cottages. You’re suddenly back in the magical time of hobbits, with unexpected nooks and crannies scattered over this beautiful 18 hectare farm which flows into the Tsitsikamma National Park. Amble into the forest guided by their dogs and discover the waterfall and rock pools, or laze in a hammock under a giant tree with Jerepigo, the horse, grazing nearby. Hop onto the 60’s Jeep for sundowners at Bobbejaans Gorge, then end the day with a hearty dinner around the fire on the candle-lit bar deck.
