Built in the days when castles were homes, the Ritz sprawls across its ample gardens. With a gazillion years of backpacking experience, they can set you journeying on the road to anywhere, drink you under the table at the Dungeon Bar and get you on your feet again with breakfast in the Courtyard Café. If you need to chill, they might oblige and chuck you in the pool too.
