Cape Town’s longest running travel centre, The Africa Travel Centre, is a one stop non-stop information hub of who, what, where, when and how. With over 18 years of experience, The Africa Travel Centre will help you find that perfect overland tour, or set you up with wheels and a map for a grand self-drive adventure. You can even book flights or Baz Bus tickets or sign up for a day tour or spike up your heartbeat and adrenaline levels with some crazy adventure sport. Suddenly all so easy, isn’t it? But if you feel like it’s all take and no give, you can join their volunteer program and enrich somebody else’s life. The ATC offers a half-day volunteer excursion to the Heideveld community with Mario and Pru at the helm. You’ll catch the local loco from the station and on arrival enjoy a tour of the district and an explanation of the project that works with children between the ages of 9 and 17. The afternoon sees you actively participating in soccer (football for ya’all) and reading with kids. It’s seriously (good) fun. The trip costs R400 (excl. transport) for the afternoon - R300 of which goes to the project.
