Every day could be Sunday once you’re nestled in valley bushveld alongside a lovely lazy river, draining your 1st beverage of the morning and contemplating the POA (Plan of Action) for the rest of the day. Will it be a quad biking game drive, a gentle paddle on the river, a spot of bird watching or air gun shooting? Maybe a donkey cart game drive? Bush warfare with paintballs? Or perhaps even a visit to Addo National Park next door for a day or night safari. Whatever your choice, the home fires will keep on burning as these guys are suckers for a good old-fashioned campfire (they’re a good reason to crack open a beer). From venison braais and potjies to steaming roosterbrood smothered in homemade jams, you’ll be spoilt for choice breakfast, lunch and dinner. The private en suite wooden huts have river frontage and the tented dorms are 20m from the water’s edge. There’s a fully licensed bar and a deck for chilling, so you can make like the river and flow.
