This Table View backpackers definately needs you to check out the beach, the bars, the jacuzzi and the menagerie. Hmm. And surf, windsurfing and going mad…

A perfect backpackers in Table View

3 minutes walk from Blouberg Beach with its postcard perfect views of Table Mountain, SaltyCrax is perfect for anyone who’s mad about water sports.
When the wind’s blowing, the kite boarding and windsurfing go off. When it’s not, ripe waves make any surfer’s mouth water. Anytime is a good time to go horse riding or on a township tour, while winter is whale watching season. As spring appears, so do the flowers, lining the roads and beaches, all the way up to the psychedelic West Coast Nature Reserve.
But what about summer, I hear you ask?
Bru’! This part of town rocks. Roll down to a bar or five, cruise the restaurants, check out the clubs... after taking in miles of white beaches and forevers of sea. But if the beach is a schlep ‘cos yer crack’s too salty, park off in the (fresh water) jacuzzi and wait for the sun to set. Even if everyone else is out, you’ll have Mango and Fred (the dogs) for company. Then the bonfire fires up, the braai begins to sizzle and the evening starts...
