Overlooking the peaks of the Outeniqua Mountains, indigenous forests, deep valleys and rivers flowing to the ocean, Phumla, the “place of rest” offers the opportunity to relax in the privacy of your own bush camp. Reserved for the exclusive use of one group, Phumla can sleep up to 10 people for R1 000, with camping space for an extra 5 (R50pp). Follow a hiking trail to pools in the river or hang out at the camp while the sun does the work, solar powering the essentials. The centre of Wilderness and the ocean are only a short drive away.
