A warm welcome is just the start of your experience when you encounter rural Swaziland by spending a day living village life in kaPhunga with Myxo’s Cultural Tours. Book your tour before arriving and they’ll meet you in Manzini and take you to the village, 55km away. Learn about Swazi culture, traditions and language and live a day in the life of kaPhunga. Spend time with the children at the village pre-school, explore the countryside on foot or on a mountain bike or join in a football match. Eat a traditional meal with the community, and when night falls go in search of bush babies and other nocturnal wildlife in the forest. When the time comes to say goodnight, snuggle up in a skilfully woven traditional beehive hut and sleep to country lullabies.
