• Nature in South Africa

There is lots of it. And most of it is protected so there are huge tracts of unspoilt loveliness that will have any nature lover coming back for more. This icon indicates naturally beautiful areas away from any major civilisation.
  • Horseriding

A lot of cowboy-type mentalities live in this country – so there is no shortage of ponies to ride. Trails vary in length from an hour to seven days. The choice is yours. This icon lets you know that horseriding is available nearby.

A comfy, fun spot.

“Dijembe” represents a circle of friends.
Encircled by indigenous forest, rivers, mountains and the ocean, the owner-run eco-friendly Dijembe is perfectly situated for exploring the Tsitsikamma. Just in case you haven’t heard, this is one of SA’s top adventure destinations. So if the world’s highest bungy is on your To Do list, drop in here and be dropped off the 216m high bridge. There’s also fab hiking or horse riding, mountain biking, ziplining through forests and over waterfalls, river tubing and more... Book it all here and receive cool discounts on their Mild to Wild packages. After an adventurous day out come home to cocktails, a jacuzzi on the upper deck and hammocks with a view. Meanwhile, they’ll be whipping up home-baked bread, pizzas or veggie-friendly meals. After dinner, grab a djembe drum and dance around the roaring bonfire with the Xhosa twins. Then let the sounds of frog city lull you to sleep. Help the planet and use their recycling bins.
