Then hop off to experience the world renowned fynbos kingdom at the nearby Kogelberg Nature Reserve and Harold Porter Botanical Gardens. Hike, discover waterfalls, rock climb and have a refreshing dip in mountain water. Afterwards, stop to exchange a few brays with the well dressed Jackass Penguins in the local penguin colony.
If you still have some gas to burn, the beach house has its own swimming pool, free 9 hole putt-putt course and a free (yay!) full size snooker table.
