Victoria Falls This is one of the wonders of the world and well worth the visit. Lotsa water... Lotsa water. Heaps in fact. A big gush of water that just doesn’t stop. So go and get wet and have fun. ’Cos it compares to the pyramids, Ayres Rock and the Great Wall of China. The surprisingly small town is filled with adventure operators, low life selling currency, woman and drugs. Don’t be tempted to exchange money with them as all you’ll get in exchange is a wad of dirty newspaper notes. As far as adventure goes, you can do anything as long as you have buckets of cash. The 5 star hotels offer everything colonial days and can be quite fun if you scallywag your way in or have the dosh. Viewing the falls The falls can be accessed from both countries with each offering stunning viewpoints and a bunch of adrenaline activities guaranteed to make you giddy. World heritage site Did you know? Vic Falls is a world heritage site. Small wonder… Don't get wet Hire a raincoat or a brollie if you’re water phobic or want to keep your camera working, and go and get wet... Air travel You can fly to directly from Jo’burg to Livingstone in Zambia or to the Victoria Falls Airport in Zimbabwe. Local currency Psst. Don’t be tempted to exchange money with people on the street as all you’ll end up with is a wad of dirty newspaper “notes” and a bad taste in your mouth. Visa requirerments Make sure you meet all visa requirements before leaving. Places to Stay
