MbabaneSwazi This is the capital of Swaziland. There are no backpackers in the city. Built up in the Dlangeni Hills, Mbabane is a bustling busy city. The Colonial administration chose to establish themselves here in 1902 because of the high altitude and cooler climate. Today it’s the administrative capital of the country and has a population of more than 50,000 people. Government offices are based here and the main complex on the outskirts of the central business district houses the Ministries of Agriculture, Education, Public Works, Health, and the Swaziland Chamber of Commerce.
