The reason for hitting Masvingo is the Zimbabwe Ruins which were constructed sometime between 1200- 1500 and proclaimed a world heritage site in 1986. It costs $380 for 2 people and has a great campsite ($80) filled with naughty monkeys that have no fear and steal everything. There is also a Municipal camp site (yawn) in Masvingo ($90).
