Slap bang in the middle of the Diamond Coast, Luderitz is a sweet little town with heaps of potential, but not much happening. It's a stunning, eerie drive from Aus to Luderitz. The ghost town of Kolmanskop is well worth a trip - but you must book in advance or they'll shoot you. Dead. For diamond theft. There is excellent camping perched above the ocean on Shark Point. Look out for the wild horses that roam the desert plains between Luderitz and Aus.
