Livingstone Livingstone is situated on the Zambian side of Victoria Falls. It offers an international airport and is the base for many of the adventure companies offering tours in the area. Established in 1905 and named after the famous explorer, Dr Livingstone, the town is situated on the Zambian side of Victoria Falls. It has flourished thanks to its proximity to the Falls, a new international airport and the relative political stability of Zambia.
