Kwambonambi

Meaning “the place where chiefs gather”, Kwabonambi is a little town in the middle of nowhere which makes a good base for exploration into the surrounding areas and its game parks, wetlands, rivers and coastline.

Kwambonambi about a half hour drive to the oldest game parks in Africa, the wetlands and coastline of St Lucia. As the surrounding area is large and unpopulated, your own transport would be a good idea although getting onto tours and out and about is easy enough. For such a teeny town, Kwambonambi is built in giant proportion. The streets are wide and generous, the trees that line them enormous and the oddness (when it exists) extreme. Take for instance the Dungeon. Who? Why? What?
